Lauren Rizzo

Greetings!

 

I am Lauren Rizzo, a fifth-grade math and science teacher at Avon Grove Intermediate School. I am a motivated educator with a passion for helping students grow and flourish through the use of technology. I am a West Chester University alum (B.S. Elementary Education / Certifications in Middle School Math and ELA, 2011) and have returned to the university to pursue a master’s degree in special education.

 

I have previously worked as a kindergarten, first, and third-grade teacher in New Jersey, as well as a third and fourth-grade teacher in Pennsylvania. When I’m not teaching, you can find me in the kitchen baking (and eating) tasty treats, outside cycling and practicing yoga, or burying my nose in a good book.
